What data does TapTime store?

TapTime stores your preferences and settings locally on your device using iOS built-in storage (UserDefaults). This includes your chosen alarm time, display settings, voice preferences, and repeat schedule. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Analytics and tracking

TapTime does not use any third-party analytics services, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. The app keeps a simple local event counter on your device for debugging purposes only. This data is never transmitted anywhere.

Network access

TapTime does not connect to the internet. The app works entirely offline and makes no network requests of any kind.

Permissions

TapTime may request the following permissions, which are used solely for their stated purpose:

• Notifications — to deliver your wake alarm when the app is in the background.
• Speech — to speak the current time aloud using on-device text-to-speech (no audio is recorded or transmitted).

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties. There is no user data to share — everything remains on your device.

Children's privacy

TapTime does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require account creation, sign-in, or submission of any personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Since TapTime collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
